John loved his feline niece, Dawsie, and his step-canine, Jack. John grew up in Tecumseh, with a few years in Port Hope. He worked at Hotel Dieu Hospital, and most of his adult life at Magna Integram; and retired at the age of 64. John love to travel. In his twenties, he spent a year in Tokyo getting his Black Belt in Aikido. He spent time in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, acquiring the skills of a race car driver. The McCabe family were much loved and respected by the Dr. James Brady Poole family of Woodstock Ontario. Philip, Mary, Kate and John each possessed a razor sharp mind and a wicked sense of humour. With my condolences, Julie Poole.
