(October 14, 1939 – November 24, 2025) It is with heavy hearts that we announce this passing of John, on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Toronto. He is survived by his loving spouse, Gabriella Karadi; his sisters, Elizabeth Pearson (Ken, deceased) and Isabell Kovats (John); and his brother-in-law, Peter Karadi. John will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. A visitation will be held at YORK CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 160 Beecroft Road, North York, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Interment at 1:45 p.m., with a reception to follow from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam may be made to St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation, Department of Oncology.
