John WILDE

John WILDE Obituary

JOHN WALTER WILDE Passed away peacefully in Toronto, on March 20, 2022, at age 95. Loving husband for over 65 years to Margaret (nee Shields). Deeply missed by daughter Christine Biggs (Jeff) and son Peter Wilde. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Andrew, Sarah, Jeff (Tiffany), Jesse, and great-grandsons Kevin and Robert. As a proud graduate of Universtiy of Toronto Engineering, John worked as a mechanical engineer for 40+ years. He loved photography, cottaging at Boshkung Lake, and all things aviation. He will be remembered for his unwavering safety consciousness, telling of jokes, and spending time with family and friends. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation or North York General Foundation.
