MERGLER, Jonathan

Passed away peacefully on March 1, 2012. Jon will be lovingly remembered by wife Maureen and his children Paul (Sheila), Sandy (Tod), Sonya (David) and Jason. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Alison and Graham, sisters Rose (the late George) and Katherine (Martin), many nieces and nephews as well as his caregivers Marilyn and Aida and his many friends. Jon was an educator, artist, chef, gardener and a passionate advocate for the arts and the arts in education. For many years he was the Co-ordinator of visual arts for the North York Board of Education. A private service celebrating Jon's life has taken place.
