BOURQUE, Joseph Thomas
of 15 Spring Street, Amherst, passed away March 3, 2004, peacefully after a brief illness. It was his 95th birthday. He was the great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandson of Antoine Bourg who immigrated to Nova Scotia from Loudun, France in 1632. Joe is survived by his daughters Marion Bourque of Toronto, Phyllis Greer of Dartmouth, and Jeanne Bourque of Amherst, and two grandsons, Scott and Matthew Greer. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Furlongs Funeral Home in Amherst. Joe's funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 8th at 10:00 am from St. Charles Parish, Amherst. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Amherst, or to the charity of your choice.
