Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 28, 2005 in his 99th year at The Village of Tansley Woods Long Term Care in Burlington, Ontario.
He is survived by his daughter Louise Merchant and her husband Dave, his son Peter Brown and his wife Doreen and his son Richard Brown (Nouella). Remembered with love by his grandchildren Doug Merchant (Cheryl Ann) and Heather Edward (Glenn), Jason Brown (Alison), and Chris Brown (Claire). Also survived by great-granddaughters Claire and Danielle Merchant and Sophie Brown.
Cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance and a reception will be held at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West (two lights west of Yonge) on Friday, November 4 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to The United Church of Canada Mission and Service Fund or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
