MARTIN, Joseph Fleck
At his home, with his family at his side, on February 6, 2000. Loving and devoted husband to Sheila. Loving father to Scott, Susan and daughterin-law Nancy. Joe was so happy to be able to spend so much time with his grandchildren Jordan, Jacob and Eryn whom he loved dearly. As his own children always said, the grandchildren could do anything, good or bad, and it was wonderful. Predeceased by his parents Carl and Marie Martin and brother Charles (July 29, 1999). Survived by brother Edward and sister Mildred Martin and many nieces and nephews. He attended the University of Manitoba in pre-med, then on to Ryerson business administration, graduating in 1967 with honours. His career started in the paper industry where he developed litho laminated corrugated packaging in Canada with Kruger Inc. Joe served as a director of Kruger Inc. from 1969 until 2000. He pioneered computer graphics in Canada to what it is today. Joe developed land for apartments and condominiums and was involved in the coaching and management of hockey in Brampton. He loved to play golf, football and hockey. Joe served as vice president of Brampton Kiwanis. Joe believed that you should live life to the fullest - ;never say can't. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South, Brampton, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. James the Apostle Anglican Church, 3 Cathedral Road, Brampton, on Thursday at 12 noon. Interment Brampton Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
