Joseph MAYER Obituary



MAYER, Joseph Moise, Joseph Moise Mayer, M.B., CH.B, LRCP (Lond), MRCS (Eng), FRCS (Edin), FRCS (C), FACS, Surgeon Emeritus, former Chief of Staff of Central Hospital, Toronto 1979-1994.
Passed away peacefully in Ottawa on November 2, 2002 at age 82. Interred at Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, November 5, 2002. Greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Iris, daughter Ann, sons Michael (Zsuzsanna), David (Tami), Jonathan (Catherine), grandsons David, Daniel, Andrew, Alexander, and pet Nikita. The family gratefully acknowledges the care he received at Ottawa Civic Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Palliative Care Unit at The Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
