JOSHUA ALAN ENSOR BARANOWSKI February 10, 1993 - November 29, 2020 In the still of the night on Sunday, November 29, a life lived too few years was taken from us. Joshua has joined his father Roger Baranowski in the realm of the angels. Many of you will remember Josh for his warm-hearted spirit, his sparkling blue eyes and quick wit. But deeper than that, Josh was a proud member of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair team, an extremely talented amateur photographer and closet technology nerd with a penchant for salt-water fish. Josh enjoyed life throughout the seasons from ultimate frisbee in the spring and fall, skiing and snowboarding in the winter, hiking, camping and hanging out at the lake in the summer. He could also be found any time of the year with a drink in his hand relaxing in the hot tub. He will be deeply missed by his mother Kathy Baranowski (née Ensor), brother Zach Baranowski, grandmother Mary Ensor (née Clemes), Aunt Patti Ensor, Uncles Bob Ensor (Tania) and Conrad Baranowski (Peggy), and cousins Lexi, Matthew, Diana (Emil) and Stephanie (Shawn). Josh will also be sadly missed by his wide group of friends and business colleagues. Due to Covid-19 protocols, Josh's passing will be mourned at a private family service on Saturday December 12, at the Havergal College Chapel where Josh was baptized a short 27 years ago. The event will be live streamed on Facebook starting at 2:00 p.m. For family and friends who wish to join us, please visit the Facebook page Josh Baranowski Memorial for the live stream details under the 'events' tab. The service will be followed by a private interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. On a final note, in the very wise words of his brother Zach, 'There is a time for tears and crying is necessary. But laughter brings us together, it reminds us that we are not alone, and we have reasons to keep smiling in the world even in the face of the darkest times.' The family asks that in lieu of flowers, if you wish, donations can be directed in Josh's memory to this link
www.canadahelps.org/en/pages/in-loving-memory-of-josh-baranowski/ for a charity fundraiser set up by Zach, or to the charity of your choice.
