RAYMENT, Karen
Passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, January 21, 2003. Devoted wife of Ian and loving mother of Alexandra and Christopher. Karen is also survived by her parents Albert and Bertha Bagen and her sisters and brother, Marjorie and her husband K.C. Lim, Sharon and her husband Ian Mathers and John Bagen. Also survived by her mother- in-law Irene Rayment. Dear aunt of Jacqueline, Nikki, Kate, Bryan and Brittni. Special thanks for the extraordinary care provided by Dr. Mark Clemens and Ann Blair of the Sunnybrook Regional Cancer Centre, Dr. David Swartz, of Toronto Grace Palliative Care Unit, Mary Vachon of Wellspring and our nurse Beatta Rallis. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 3055 Bloor Street West (west of Royal York Road), Toronto, on Thursday, January 23, 2003 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
