Karen THOMPSON Obituary

KAREN MARJORIE THOMPSON (nee Jefferson) "Kaje" March 3, 1945- October 26, 2022 Peacefully, in her 77th year, after a lengthy battle with MS, with her loving daughters by her side, in Dundas, ON. Predeceased by her parents, Kenneth Dalton Jefferson, Sophie Francis Jefferson, (nee Harris); and her sister, Ruth Mabel Nieukirk , (nee Jefferson). Karen is survived by her daughters, Stacey Anne Delorme, Shelley Leigh Collins , Alyson Brooke Thompson; and her two granddaughters, Cassidy Regan Collins and Farrah Lenore Collins. Karen's wishes were to say her goodbyes personally, without ceremony. She has generously donated her body to Humber College for the Bioscience / Funeral Services Program. Karen's ability to captivate people with her abundance of stories will be dearly missed. For all who have loved and known Karen, we are all aware of her overwhelming love for animals. Both wild and domestic. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to an animal rescue of your choice.
