Dear Pam and family. I was sorry to hear through James Cartan that Karl had passed away in June. I had known Karl since starting practice in Brampton in 1974. He was dedicated to his patients and craft. May he rest in peace.

My late husband Robert and I first met Karl at UCWI in Mona, Jamaica. Our friendship continued in Toronto. We admired and respected Karl's success as an Orthopaedic Surgeon and his contributions at the Etobicoke General Hospital. Karl was instrumental in establishing the UWIMAA in Toronto, so that he and others could give back to their alma mater. Robert was very happy to be a part of that group..
My condolences to Pam , her daughters and the rest of the Family.
May Karl rest in peace.

Dr. Karl Massiah

So sad to hear of the passing of a dear friend and colleague of many years.
He was quiet, friendly, supremely competent
and always ready and quick to step in to help
in emergencies outside his scope of practice.
A doctor's doctor and most of all the ultimate
gentleman.
Rest in Peace, Karl !
