KARL ZIMMERMAN

Suddenly at home in Grimsby, Karl Zimmerman was called into the arms of his beloved Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the age of 70. He was predeceased by his parents, Suzon (2022) and George Zimmerman (2020). Born in the province of Ontario, Karl began his professional life as an accountant before discovering his true calling in financial planning - a field in which he built a remarkable and lasting career. Though Karl did not leave behind a family of his own, his legacy lives on in the lives of the many clients, colleagues, and friends he so deeply impacted. For many years, Karl faithfully served the Oakville community as part of the PPK team (Peter, Paul, and Karl). His work extended far beyond financial matters - he was known for his compassion, his attentive listening, his wise counsel, and his heartfelt prayers. Karl's presence was a source of comfort and strength to all who crossed his path. An avid sailor, Karl found great joy on the water and spent many happy years with his boat moored at the Oakville Club. Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Lakemount Worship Centre, 54 North Service Road, Grimsby, on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Grimsby Mountain Cemetery.
