It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Keith Jules Dancy, O.N., on Sunday, May 6, 2001, at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital, with his family by his side. Loving husband of Jeannine Margaret of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Dear father of Michelle (Doug Stone) of Brampton, Robert (Mary) of Fort Erie, David (Audrey) of Niagara Falls, Melissa (fiancé Brian Bickford) of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Elizabeth, of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jennifer, Heather and Andrew Stone, Robert, Alyssa, Jeffrey and Karen Dancy. Brother of Joan (George Ledingham) of Toronto, Betty (Jim Sward) of Ottawa, and John (Pat) of Boynton Beach, Florida. A well-known Broadcaster, Mr. Dancy started his career with CFRB as a high school reporter in 1945. He is currently Chairman of Niagara Broadcasting Corporation and owner of CJRN 710 Inc. and 101.1 The River. Mr. Dancy was recently honored as a member of The Order of Niagara for exceptional service to the Anglican Church by Bishop Ralph Spence and Primate Archbishop Michael Peers. The Dancy family will receive friends at the NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 415 Regent Street (at William Street), from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. A service in celebration of his life will be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, Byron Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, followed by committal at St. Mark's Cemetery.
