I was sad to learn of Keith’s death. His mother, Kay and my mother Mary mother were first cousins. Keith was two years ahead of me in Medical School at Western. I went to Montreal to do Pediatrics and then moved to Halifax to pracice so we lost touch. I remember Keith as a very good athlete. I have fond memories of Keith at our family gatherings as a young boy .

Although I haven't seen Dr. MacDonald for many years, I always remember him with fondness. He was kind and thoughtful with his patients and a good friend to our family. Working in the hospital field for the past 30 years, I often use Dr. MacDonald as a high standard for excellence and compassion. He truly made this world a better place.

It is with sadness we learned of Dr. Keith passing, we will miss seeing him walking the dog at the cottage in Lurgan Beach, always taking time to stop, have a catch up chat always with a smile. To MacDonald family: can't say enough for Keith's dedication to the medical field and his patients!!!! Have been a patient at Streetsville Med. Center for 55 and in 1966 my first impression of him was" compassion"....My heartfelt condolences to the family !!! Best regards Umemura family

My sincere condolences to Barbara and the MacDonald family. As our family doctor, we are so grateful for his expertise in keeping our family healthy and well. His welcome advice was always so thoughtful and practical. As a neighbour, he served our community in many capacities so that we all could live better lives.

Dr. Keith MacDonald was our family doctor from the time he came to Streetsville until he left his practice there. He made a surprise visit to our Mom in Kincardine where she lived on her 80th Birthday. Our deepest condolences go to Barbara and the rest of his family.

Awe. My heart fills with so many things when I hear this news. Sadness of course, and yet happiness because Keith was such a nice man. It feels like he has been in my life forever as I spent many a year in close friendship with Cathy and Susie. Barb, I always thought that you were the luckiest lady in the world to have a decent man as the father to your children and husband to yourself. You two were the constant that I often needed when it came to stability in my life. I am truly sorry for your loss but I know that he lived a very healthy and rewarding life and that we as a community were so enriched by his presence and his work. This world is such a better place because of him. Sending huge hugs to all of you. Thank you for letting me share a little piece of your lives in our magical town of Streetsville.

I would like to extend my condolences to Keith’s family on their loss. I had worked with Keith for a number of years at the Chrysler Brampton Assembly Plant. I could always rely on him for sound advise when necessary.
