Keith MCKESSOCK Obituary

Keith Alexander McKessock, P.Eng. 1935 - 2016
Keith McKessock was born in Kitchener, ON and grew up in Lindsay, ON.
He graduated from Queen's University in 1957 with a Mechanical Engineering degree and practiced as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario.
He successfully owned and operated McKessock Engineering Ltd. for many years and enjoyed his work with conveyor projects so much he didn't want to retire until age 75. His conveyor designs were renowned for their simple elegance and practicality.
He was a member and past president of the Central Ontario Robotic Society, an organization with many progressive future manufacturing automation visions.

He was a member, past president of the North Scarborough Rotary Club, a service club with many wonderful community projects. The club honored him with a Paul Harris Fellowship award at a time when Rotary was proposing the elimination of polio in the world.

Keith was a gentle man, always a welcoming, trustworthy, hardworking and fully committed to family, business and friends.

He was husband and best friend to Pauline for 55 years, loving father to Linda (Ross) and George (Bev), and proud Grampa to Devin, Kelsey, Ian, David and Erin.
Keith did not want a funeral and so we will honor his wishes in this regard. Cremation has taken place and burial will be in the family plot in Lindsay.

The family would like to thank Dr. Solow, Dr. Singh, Dr. Weiss and the nursing staff in 2E at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their wonderful support and caring.

Anyone wishing to make a memorial donation in Keith's name is asked to consider the Markham Stouffville Hospital in Markham, ON or any charity of choice.
