Ken KELMAN Obituary

KELMAN, Ken
It is with our deepest regret that we announce the passing of Kenneth Kelman, the patriarch of our family, on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Toronto. His life was filled with great joy and success. He is the most beloved and caring husband of Mildred Kelman and the very special brother of Harry (Margaret), and the late Izzy, Gloria, and Billie. He leaves his loving daughters Eleanor London (Lou), and Rikki Meggeson (John). He truly loved and enjoyed his 5 grandchildren; Lisa (Len), Lynne, Lorne (Susan), Sean, and Steven. He is blessed with 9 great-grandchildren; Spencer, Clayton, Dylan, Laura, Alyssa, Ryan, Cole, Sidney, and Simon. He leaves many wonderful nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews. We want to thank his very special and devoted caregivers, Dolly, Yolybin, and Sam. They have been tireless and loving, providing our father with much happiness. We also want to thank the marvelous nursing staff on 17 south and Dr. Yash Patel at Mt. Sinai who provided our father with such special care. Services were held at Holy Blossom Temple on Thursday, October 28 at 12:00 p.m. Interment at Holy Blossom Memorial Park. Shiva 1166 Bay Street, Suite 1404. In memory of our father and his strong connection to Mt. Sinai as a life- long Governor along with his wife, we would ask that memorial donations be made to the Ken & Mildred Kelman Research Fund c/o Mt. Sinai Hospital, 416- 586-8290.
