KRISTIN ROSS November 7, 1980 - April 30, 2023 Kristin was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, niece, granddaughter, friend, and schoolteacher. She had the kindest soul and would do anything for her family. Kristin was the sweetest person you could have ever met, a natural born schoolteacher that loved her job and her students. Although her life may have been cut short after a long battle with cancer, she lived every day to the fullest. Kristin loved to travel. She had been to many places all over the world. Having been on two extensive European trips, Asia, South America, Costa Rica, Egypt and southern Africa, as well as many others. Kristin may have been to all the corners of the world, but the one place that made her feel at home and was her favorite place to travel to time and time again was her family cottage on Twin Lakes. Kristin was a loving wife to Hope, having been together for 23 years and married for 11 years. She was a loving and caring mother to Ayodele and Ololade. She will be missed by her father, Stephen; and stepfather, Peter; as well as her brothers, Sterling (Tammy) and Sloan. She will be missed by her Nana, Joyce; and she will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Catalijne, the late Remi, Niles, Els, Joy-Adebisi, Sophia, Asake, April, Henry, and Alice. Kristin is now reunited with her late mother, Janet. The family wants to thank the amazing care team at the Sunnybrook oncology unit for all the care and support they showed for Kristin. Friends and family may visit for a celebration of Kristin's life on Saturday, May 13, from 1:00p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. West (at Fourteenth St. between Kipling and Islington). Kristin's wishes were followed, and she was cremated after passing. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the
Canadian Cancer Society, Nankind, Melanie's Way or Sunnybrook Hospital.
