The family of Kristof Borowski is sorry to announce he has passed away aged 81 years July 6, 2013 in Vancouver. Kristof was born in Tomaszow Poland August 29, 1931. He lived through the Second World War in Warsaw running messages for the resistance as a youth. He studied Architecture in Warsaw and was president of the Jazz Club. In 1957, he received a Ford Foundation Scholarship to study in Britain, where he met Dympna Cullinane in London. They married in 1959 and moved to Rome for two years, where Kristof designed the new wing of the Vatican Museum at Studio Passarelli. They had three children upon returning to Britain: Guy, Anna and Gregory. In 1976 the family emigrated to Vancouver, where Kristof established his own architectural practice. Kristof also continued his passion for painting, mounting numerous art shows. Kristof loved art, history and culture and loved discussing Boris Pasternak or Shakespeare.
