VIR KUMAR HANDA 1931 - 2005 Died peacefully on Tuesday May 3, 2005 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Silvana. Loving father to Aruna (John Kipphoff) and Dev (Alison Waltch). Cherished grandfather to Noah, Marco, and Zoe. Survived by his brothers Ashwani and Om, and his sister Vijay Malhotra. A celebration of Vir's life takes place on Thursday May 26th from 3:30 to 7:00 pm at the University Club, University of Waterloo with toasts at 5:30 pm. In Vir's memory and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Grand River Hospital Foundation, St. Mary's Hospital Foundation or to the Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity (167 Aikins Street, Winnipeg, MB R2W 4G1) and can be arranged through the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo.
