KLINGER, Laura Jean (nee Spence)
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends, on Thursday, September 15, 2005, in Toronto, after a courageous struggle with cancer. Loving wife of Witold, devoted mother of Sophie, Julia and Matthew. Daughter of Jean Spence and the late George Spence. She will be sadly missed by her brothers, Paul Spence and his wife Judy, Mark Spence and his wife Jean and their families.
Laura was born on March 30, 1952 and raised in the Beaches (Toronto). At the age of 22, she became a flight attendant and enjoyed her 30-year flying career to the fullest. Laura will be remembered for her humour, great style and enduring love. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In Laura's memory, donations to Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
