Unfortunately I will be unable to attend the memorial service today. My sincere condolences to Larry´s family and brothers. We had many visits to Machokie Rd in the 60s and 70s where the family grew up. Life long memories of a wonderful family.

Correction to my earlier message....that was Brother Clement's class ( i.e. Clem's) not Mel's.

Our deepest sympathies to Larry's precious "bride" Nancy, his children and grandchildren of whom he was not only very proud but who brought joy and happiness to his life. Larry was a very caring father and grandfather and each of them is fortunate that a piece of Larry continues to live within them.
Larry was a kind, generous, intelligent, thoughtful, happy and proud true gentleman (of which we seem to have a shortage these days) who enjoyed life to its fullest. His interests were many including the Arts, travelling and sports and was always eager to attend or participate in so many events and activities. I am honoured to have had him as a dear friend and colleague for over forty years, He will be deeply missed by myself and Diane.
I have been thinking of Larry ever since his first diagnosis but as he would want and so valiantly instructed, those thoughts were less of his illness and courageous battle but rather of the numerous enjoyable times we shared in each other's company. Those happy times and memories will always remain with me.
As a devout Catholic, Larry no doubt was spiritually prepared but he still had much to live for. Fortunately he made the most of his time by fulling embracing life, committing himself and exhibiting those human qualities that are of such immeasurable benefit to family, friends and others.
We will miss him dearly.
With deep emotions and loving and kind thoughts,
Brad and Diane Dalgliesh

Larry and I were classmates and sat next to each other in Brother Mel's Grade 10 class at "Del". Larry is top row here, 5th from the left. I remember well his wry smile and the sense of humour that went with it. Learned later he was my friend Tom's brother. My condolences to Nancy and her family. Joe Carrier

My sincere condolences to Larry's family. My parents baby sat the "Murray Boys" and I knew them well when I was growing up. One memory that stands out is going to Lansdowne Park in Ottawa to meet Larry (and Joe) when the marching band was playing there. I have great memories of Uncle Frank, Aunt Jean and the "Murray Boys".

My sincere condolences to Nancy and all of Larry's family, as I am saddened to hear of his passing. Larry was a trusted advisor to me and my company for many years, and I'm sorry that I haven't kept in touch since his retirement. He was definitely one of the "good guys" in our business, and I will always remember well his calm and friendly demeanor over the long time during which we had contact.

I was so sorry to read this today. I certainly would be there on the 22nd to give all of you a hug, but I have a prior commitment. Please know I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Frank and Aunt Jean, and all the Murray boys. Cherish you memories.

Fran and I want to express our heartfelt condolences to Nancy and family on Larry´s sad passing. Larry was a long time partner and friend. Our professional roots were the same as we both started our careers at Coopers and Lybrand. We reconnected when Ernst and Whinney merged with Thorne. Larry was such a decent and caring person. When I retired from KPMG and took on a new role at CPA Canada he was one of the first people to reach out to me to see how he could help me. He was a wonderful person who I will miss but always remember fondly.
