NEWMAN, Laurie (nee Chapman)
Passed away on the morning of Thursday August 26, 2010 at Markham-Stouffville Hospital due to natural causes, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Arthur James Newman. Dear mother of sons Michael and Stephen Newman. Predeceased by brother Bud Chapman, and sisters Bonnie and Joan. Dear grandmother of Christopher and Kyle Newman, Katherine (Bunny) Newman, and Julie Trantau, and great- grandchildren Thomas, Joshua, and James. Laurie will be sadly missed by daughters-in-law Anne Soupault,, Ann Newman and Kate Nicholson- Pole. Long time friends Pat Hargrave, Dorothy Young and Ann Sobie will miss their loving companion. Warmly loved by cousin Doug Allen in Florida. A great loss to nephew Peter Chapman and wife Lorraine in Edmonton, whose constant thoughtfulness and love surpassed all. And to Laurie's many contacts in life, the love and laughter she shared will never be forgotten. Resting at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora. 905-727-5421.
