GORHAM, Leslie Jane (nee Hewett)
Peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2016 in Barrie at the age of 73 after her courageous battle with cancer. Beloved daughter of the late F. V. C. Hewett and Irene Petersen Hewett. Sister of John, Anne and Robert Hewett. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Stephen (Susan) and her daughter Debbie. Proud grandmother of Jessica and Emily. As a childhood summer retreat and then the place where she raised her children, Big Bay Point held a special place in her heart. Leslie was an avid reader and loved to test her intellect while watching Jeopardy. Incredibly kind and thoughtful, Leslie touched hearts wherever she was. The family would like to thank the incredible staff and caregivers at IOOF Odd Fellow and Rebekah Long Term Care Home who went above and beyond, treating her like family. Leslie will be remembered at a private family memorial service.
