LISA RICH Obituary

Lisa never did anything half-way. She was a woman of immense love, strength, generosity, creativity, and focus. From raising two loving sons (Ryan and Ross), being a world-class wife of Garnet Rich, breaking into the world of accounting and finance, building a beautiful life in Toronto, and attending FIT in New York at only 17, she brought with her legendary passion. Lisa will be most remembered for her generous spirit, commitment as a mother and mother-in-law, immense strength (especially during her battle with cancer), epic party planning and costumes, and refined taste. Originally from a small town in Upstate New York (Batavia), daughter of Ned and Jeanne Cooper, and sister to LexAnne, Lyndon, and Leslie, Lisa found herself in Tulsa, OK, of all places. She had followed Leslie, where she quickly met her husband of nearly 40 years, Garnet Rich, building a beautiful life in his hometown Toronto, Canada. Lisa passed away peacefully at home on December 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She left this world better than she found it.

Garnet, my sympathy is with you and and the boys as you come to terms with Lisa's passing. I have fond memories of Lisa from the Bocce parties and girls time on the dock at Lisa and Gary's cottage. We bonded over accounting and travel as well, she gave me good recommendations that I have used. I am so very sorry, and may your good memories wash over you and help you find your breath.
