ALLEN, Loftus Haviland (1921-2009)
It is with deep sadness that Haviland's family announce his death on Wednesday, December 23, 2009. He will be greatly missed by Shirley (nee Wells), his wife of 60 years, his three daughters, Martha, Janet and Judith, their husbands Chop Stigler, Doug Newlands and David Whittaker and his nine grandchildren. We would like to recognize Winston, his wonderful caregiver for the last 18 months. As he wished, there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of his life in the spring in Muskoka. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Turner & Porter 'Butler' Chapel (416.231.2283).
