Lorna Hawkett Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Lorna Hawkett (Francis), who passed peacefully, on April 12, 2025, at Etobicoke General Hospital, at the age of 88. Lorna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon; and is survived by her son, Thomas (Melissa); daughter, Karen (Jeffery Wysman); and brothers, Maurice Francis (Ruth) and Ian Francis. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephew; as well as Brandon Wysman and family. Lorna was a proud graduate of Toronto Western Hospital Nursing in 1958 as an RN and enjoyed lifelong friendships with many of her Alumnae. A chapel service will be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto, on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 1 p.m., followed immediately by interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.
