It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of my friend and former colleague, Lorna Mays who I was lucky enough to work with for over a dozen years. Lorna was a kind, gentle, and spirited woman and friend, who was a pleasure to know. I was fortunate to stay in touch with Lorna throughout the years with regular calls to wish her a happy birthday and detailed, hand-written, Christmas letters along with the occasional call in return. Lorna, was a special person in many people´s lives and for that I count myself lucky having been Lorna´s friend.

I. Knew Lorna an MSObook sale volunteer. She was also the neighbour of a friend. She was a lovely lady, so kind and thoughtful. I'm glad I knew her a little.
My sympathy to her family.

Lorna was a neighbour for many years and was always pleasant to talk to. She would be seen watering or taking care of trees, plants and flowers and using our garden hose to fill up a bucket to water the plants.
