LORNE ALAN WILLIS QC December 4, 1941 - August 18, 2021 Alan Willis of Ottawa died peacefully after a short illness on August 18, 2021. He was the son of Montague and Lorna (Herdman) Willis of Montreal and the brother of Nancy Gallop, who died earlier this year. He leaves behind his nephews and niece: Mark (Lindsay), Liane (Bill), and Keith (Joanne) Gallop, his great-nieces and nephew: Clara and Rae Congdon, and Allegra and Henry Gallop, his brother-in- law, John Gallop, and close friends at home and abroad. As per his wish, there will be no visitation or funeral. Should you wish to make a donation in Alan's memory, some of his favourite causes were the Ottawa Chamber Music Society, Médecins Sans Frontières, and the Canadian Wildlife Federation. Alan's family and friends are grateful for the exceptional care he received from the nurses and doctors at the Ottawa Civic Hospital over the past few weeks.
