Mrs. Loyola Mary Peplinski (nee
Quinn) of Calgary passed away
suddenly as a result of a massive
heart attack, at 7:00 p.m., on the
evening of Friday, November 7,
at the age of 77 years. She spent
her last moments on Earth, as
she had much of the last 56
years, in the arms of her
husband Des. Mom was born in
Lanark, Ontario on January 31,
1937. She graduated as a

Ontario where Loyola worked as
a nurse and where their 4
children were born. In 1967,
Loyola and her family moved to
Ottawa and she continued her
nursing career at the Riverside
Hospital. Her lifelong passions
were caring for her kids and
grandchildren and tending to her

moved to Calgary where she
actively assisted her friends,
neighbours and anyone else
who came to her door. She was
an early student and practitioner
of a healthy lifestyle and has left
this legacy and learning with her
family. We should all be so lucky
as to have the energy, positive
outlook, and strong faith to
guide us in life that Loyola did
She is dearly missed by her
