LALONDE, Lucien (Lou)
Former President and Publisher of the Ottawa Journal. Suddenly on Tuesday December 22, 1998 at the age of 79 years. Loving and devoted husband of Lorraine Gratton. Predeceased by first wife Yvette Binette, brothers Aubert, Dorima, Gerald, Ovide and Remi and sister Laurette. Survived by brother Laurent. Father, mentor and friend to his seven children, Claude, Bernie, Michele, Marie, Helene, Anne and Gisele; to his step children Pascale, Chantel, Luc and Alain; to his grandchildren Julie, Olivia, Stephanie, Michelle, Paul, Christian and Zachary; to his step grandchildren Antoine, Hugo, Laurence, Simon, Emanuelle and Nicolas. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt, Ottawa, Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Remi Roman Catholic Church, 2821 Dumaurier Avenue, Ottawa, Thursday at 10 a.m. Cremation.
