Lucille CHAPLAN

LUCILLE CHAPLAN (née Singer) It is with sadness that we report the passing of Lucille Chaplan, June 11, 1921 - January 5, 2022. Writer, avid reader, and microwave maven, Lucille was born, raised and lived most of her life in Toronto. She was predeceased by her husband of more than 50 years, Norman, whom she once described as 'the wind under my wings', and by her sisters Shirley and Marion. She leaves behind her children, Rose and Jonathan, daughter- in-law Nhung, and grandchildren Owen and Avery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charities helping abused women begin a new life and charities supporting care for the elderly so that they can remain longer in their homes. A Family graveside service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022.
