Lucille WONG Obituary
(1921-2009) LUCILLE WONG On Sunday, June 28th, 2009 in her 88th year, Lucille, peacefully past away at St. Mary's Hospital. We remember her for her strength of character, determination, leadership, kindness and giving ways. Lucille's life was driven with her family's best interest at heart. Her 'never give up spirit' was her message to all of those she loved. As co-founder of Les Aliments Wong Wing in 1948, she was a successful business woman long before women thought they could be. She was well known for her philanthropic contributions particularly in the Chinese community. Lucille was predeceased by her brothers Moise, Armand, Marcel, Raymond, and Richard. She is survived by her brother Bernard, (Arlene), and her sister Pauline (George). A cherished aunt, she also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews as well as great great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, July 3rd, 2009 at the Centre Funéraire Côte-Des- Neiges, 4525 Chemin de la Côte-DesNeiges, Montreal, from 2 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Ser vices will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Montreal Chinese Catholic Mission, 979 rue Cote, Montreal. The family will receive visitors 1 hour before at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Montreal Chinese Family Ser vices, the Montreal Chinese Catholic Mission, or the Montreal Chinese Hospital Foundation.
