McINTYRE, Lucy Mood (nee McLeod)
Born November 15, 1906 in Bishopville, South Carolina, daughter of Governor Thomas Gordon and Elizabeth Alford McLeod. Peacefully in Mississauga, Ontario on Friday, December 2, 2005 in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Archibald Campbell McIntyre. Loving mother of Thomas Gordon McLeod McIntyre and his wife Michelle, of Caledon, Ontario, Robert Dugald McIntyre, Q.C. and his wife Louana of Brampton, Ontario, and Ian Campbell McIntyre of Durham, North Carolina. Predeceased by her brothers McDonald Alford McLeod, Thomas Gordon McLeod Jr., and Yancey Alford McLeod. Lucy will be missed by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A long term member of the American Women's Club, Toronto and Clan MacLeod Association. A true 'southern lady'. The family will receive friends at the SCOTT FUNERAL HOME 289 Main St. N. 'Brampton Chapel', Ontario 905-451-1100 on Sunday, December 11, 2005 from 2-3 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the chapel at 3 p.m., and reception upstairs. A private family interment will be held at Prospect Cemetery Monday, December 12, 2005 at 1 p.m. In memory of Lucy, donations to your local Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
