We wish to thank Dr. Pauline Pariser for the care she offered to Lucy over many years as well as the dedicated staff at Sunnybrook Hospital and, in particular, Dr. Rachel Wortzman whose compassion will never be forgotten. For 60 years, across continents and countries, Lucy was a dear and cherished friend of my mother, Miriam Robinson. As fate would have it, decades later they would both end up living close to each other in Toronto. We (Alan and Claudine) were lucky to have met and come to know her there, as well as her husband Michael.

Generous, intelligent and caring, Lucy shared stories of her youthful adventures, from Saskatchewan to Israel to Canada. She was a courageous and dynamic woman with many inspiring stories to tell.

We all appreciate everything she did for Miriam over the years. We will miss her greatly.
