Lynne SINCLAIR Obituary

DR. LYNNE SINCLAIR Passed peacefully with family at her bedside at the Mariposa House Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer, on March 30, 2021. Loving daughter of Dr. Norman Sinclair (predeceased), and Mrs. Ann Sinclair (predeceased). Loving sister of Sandy (Juri) Merelaid, Patrick (predeceased) and wife Mary Burnel, Norman (Lynn) Sinclair, Sharon Sinclair, Michael (predeceased) and wife Carol Sinclair, Mary Lou Duffy (Russ Anderson), Carol (Dan) Anthony, Susan Sinclair and Shannon (David) Lecour. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Lynne was a lifelong aficionado of literature, film and music. Her passions led her to complete her Masters in English Literature before ultimately pursuing her career ambition of becoming a clinical psychologist. She completed a Masters and PhD in Psychology at York University. Lynne dedicated the majority of her career to the treatment of adolescents, spending most of her career at Surrey Place in Toronto. Lynne retired to Orillia to be closer to her family. She received compassionate care at the Birchmere Retirement Residence in Orillia, and then Mariposa House Hospice in Severn, in the last years of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mariposa House Hospice would be appreciated. Due to current restrictions around Covid-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date when it is safer to do so. Messages of condolence are welcome at www.mundellfuneralhome.com

Condolences to Lynn's family. I also worked at Surray Place and got to know her there. She was a kind, soft spoken woman and it was a pleasure to have know her. May she rest in perfect peace.
