M. VIRGINIA ARMSTRONG (née Miller) 1930 - 2022 On Friday, August 26, 2022, after a short illness, Virginia passed away peacefully at home in her 92nd year. Predeceased by Grant Armstrong, her husband of 63 years, and by her sisters, Helen Fraser and Dorothy McCracken. Survived by her brother, John Miller. Beloved mother (and mother-in-law) of Stephen Armstrong (Jane), Catherine Unelli (Ang), Robin Browne (Gary), Jacqueline DiNardo (Ilio) and Susan Armstrong-Wiatrowski (Gerry). Grandmother of David Armstrong (Vanessa May), Jamie Armstrong (Amelia Beauregard), Beth Armstrong (Nick Chauvin), Alexandra Unelli (Thomas Adesunloye), Cameron Unelli, Patrick Browne (Lauren Diederichs), Tory Browne (Justin Steinhilber), Julia DiNardo, and Nic DiNardo. Great-grandmother of Lysander, Oberon and Margaux. You are invited to join in a celebration of Virginia's life at Erindale United Church, 1444 Dundas Crescent, Mississauga, on September 7 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. If desired, donations may be made in Virginia's memory to the Mississauga Food Bank or SCARF - Special Care for Animals & Resources Fund.
