GANS, M. Susan (nee Hurdle)
born February 11, 1948 in Montreal, departed from us January 26, 1998 under the loving care of the Victoria Hospice staff surrounded by her family and supportive friends. At the end of a long journey -she has gone from us far too early. Susan was predeceased by her loving mother Margaret and is survived by her loving husband David, son Philip and daughter Sara by whom she will be greatly missed. She is also survived by parents Harold (Helen) of Montreal whose immense love and support was a great comfort to her in life; her two dear sisters Patricial and Elizabeth (Maurice) of Ottawa whose love and comforting meant so much to Susan throughout her life and expecially through her final weeks; her aunt Kitty a dear and loving friend who holds a special place in all our hearts; nephews Alex, Ethan, Sean, Devon, Vincent, along with other family and friends. Special thanks are extended to Dr.'s Wild, Cote', Allen, Joe and to the truly wonderful staff and volunteers at Hospice, but most especially to Susan's friends whose efforts in easing the pain will not be forgotten. The family will be forever grateful for the efforts of all. "TO LIVE IN THE HEARTS WE LEAVE BEHIND IS NOT TO DIE." Cremation, no service at Susan's request. Flowers to hospice.
