BYRNE, Mabel Kathleen (McHoull) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our much loved mother on Friday, April 15, 2011. Predeceased by her loving husband Jerry (J.C.) and son John (Rose, deceased). She leaves her daughters Pat Crombie and Terry Kaiser, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mabel was a pioneer at mining camps in the North West Territories in the late 1930's. After moving to Toronto in 1946 she was on the executive of the Womens' Association of the Mining Industry of Canada and volunteered for several charities. Her true love was Arizona where she continued to winter until three years ago. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 17. A commemoration of her life will be held in the chapel on Monday, April 18 at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.
