Mae BARRY Obituary
"May the sorrow with which she is parted from on earth be a prognostic of the joy with which she is hailed in heaven." Mother, wife, and artist - Christine was creative and innovative in her work and life. With deep roots in Montreal, she was inspired by the Laurentians; by the ever-changing colours and light during summer visits to the ocean in Maine; and by travel to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. These inspirations are alive in her work - they are her journal, her legacy. Married to Eric for 62 years, Christine was mother to Christopher, Lisa, Catherine, Erica, and David. Mother-in-law to Maureen, Brian, Ann, and James. Grandmother to Faith (Chris), Sara Jane, Maia (Andrew), Olivia, Emma, Julia, and Kevin. Great-grandmother to Elodie and Marianne. Nothing made her prouder and happier than her family. Always kind, gracious and polite, Christine was grateful for the care she received at Christie Gardens in her final years. There will be a private family service in June. Au revoir, Mom, see you on the other side.
