MARGARET IRENE CHANNELL

(nee Foster) It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret at the Trillium Mississauga Hospital on Monday, August 4, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Douglas; loving mother of John Channell, the late Paul Channell, Patricia Channell (Chris Meeks) and Jeffrey Channell (Leanne); and cherished Nana of Jack, Emma, Grace, Eve and Paul. Margaret led a fulfilling career as a legal secretary, then school secretary with Peel Board of Education, was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Dixie Curling Club, and Christ First United Church. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Funeral Home – Peel Chapel on Monday, August 11th, from 6-8 p.m., and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th, at 2 p.m. Condolences and memories may be forwarded through www.turnerporter.ca.
