Marg was the loving wife of Harry Baldwin Kennedy Jr. (deceased) for 71 years; and the loving mother to Catherine (David), Susan (David), Robert and John (Jacqueline). She was also the caring grandmother to Michael (Fiammetta), Christine (Cameron), Madison, Lauren, Cameron and Sheridan; and great-grandmother to Enzo, Emilia and Calvin.
Marg grew up in Toronto and attended Branksome Hall. During the summer months she attended camp in the Haliburton area and later became a camp counsellor and taught horseback riding. After graduating from the University of Toronto (University College), she became a kindergarten piano/music teacher before commencing her true calling – becoming a caring and loving mother to four active children and the lifelong, steadfast and supportive partner to Harry.
When time permitted in a very busy household, Marg volunteered at the Junior League of Toronto, at IODE Canada and at John Ross Robertson Public School in Toronto. Always active, Marg regularly played golf at Rosedale Golf Club and was the 9-Hole Captain. She golfed at Cedarhurst Golf Club and Atlantis Golf Club (Florida) and, in the winters, curled at the Granite Club. More recently in Florida, she enjoyed her light workouts at the LA Fitness gym.
Marg was an intrepid traveller and greatly enjoyed the many adventures and cruises she shared with Harry and their legion of friends as they explored together many countries and every continent.
Marg loved life's simple pleasures, playing the piano, birdwatching, reading murder mysteries, playing bridge or just having a cup of tea while listening to the radio or classical music. She never tired of sitting on the cottage deck looking out over Lake Simcoe sunsets. Most of all, Marg loved her four children, and all of the grandchildren and the great-grandchildren. She was very proud of their character and their accomplishments, large and small.
Marg was cremated, and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada. The family would like to thank the staff and many caregivers at Amica in Newmarket and at Southlake Residential Care Village in Newmarket for the kind and attentive care they provided.
To honour our dear mother's memory, please take a moment to sit quietly with a loved one, enjoy a cup of tea (always with a sweet treat) and reflect on the privilege of a long, happy and healthy life. Online condolences may be offered to the family through the Taylor Funeral Home in Newmarket at www.taylorfh.ca.
We love you Mom. Rest in peace.

Was very fond of Marge Ann. She and Harry made a fabulous couple and I was privileged to know them both well.

As one of my dad´s best friends, we spent a lot of time down in Atlantis with Harry and Marg Ann. They were the most fun couple and there were so many laughs and fun social events. A lovely couple and a charming lady
