Peacefully at Kawartha Lakes Extendicare in Lindsay on Thursday, November 4, 2004. Shirley Jackson, in her 82nd year, was the loving mother of Margot Stockie and her husband Gary of Waterloo, Nora Steffler and her husband Paul of Lindsay, and Dr. Jonathan Lapp and his wife Nora of Oakville. Grandmother of Shannon and her husband Craig Mellow, Rob Adam and Meredith Stockie, Ian, Sarah and Neil Steffler, Leann, Lisa and Anthony Lapp, and great grandmother of Claire Mellow. Sister of Fay and her husband Hank Armstrong of Ottawa. Predeceased by her parents Forrest (Jack) Jackson and Isobel Mack. Private family services will be held in Kingston with interment at Cataraqui Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society Victoria County would be appreciated by the family and may be made through Mackey Funeral Home 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705-328-2721).
