MARGARET LITTLE Obituary

February 1, 1933 - March 20, 2025

Margaret died peacefully, in her 93rd year, surrounded by her four children at Sunnybrook Hospital.

Dearly loved wife of the late Fr. Arthur Thomas Little. Cherished mother of Tom and Marnie Little, Kate and Mark Kostandoff, Rosemary and Nina Jeffares-Levitt, and Patrick Little and Sara Trent. Beloved grandmother of Emily, Justine, Adam, Emma, Frances, Thomas, Liam and Jude; and great-grandmother of Maeve.

A proud graduate of The Hospital for Sick Children's Class of '54, Margaret maintained relationships with her nursing sisters throughout her life. She enjoyed a rewarding career in hospital settings, public health and at Surrey Place Centre, Toronto. Margaret lived most recently at Belmont House in the Queen Elizabeth Wing where she had many friends.

Visitation will be held at Morley Bedford, 159 Eglinton Avenue West, on Thursday, March 27th, from 5 - 7 p.m. The funeral will take place at St. Thomas's Church, 383 Huron Street, on Friday, March 28th, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the parish hall. Interment at a later date at Magnetawan, Ontario.

Our family thanks the dedicated staff at Belmont House and the outstanding doctors and nurses of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. In memory of Margaret, donations may be made to SickKids or St. Thomas's Anglican Church.
