On June 15, 2000 died in her 93rd year in the arms of her daughter Beth after memorable visits from many family members on the preceding few days. Married to the late Fred Murgatroyd for 50 splendid years. Loved and loving mother and friend of Beth and her husband Gordon Lennard and Bob and his wife Barb. Vital and encouraging ;Mimi; to Kathy and John Knowles, John Lennard, Sue and Steve Howe, Rob Lennard, Joan and Carson Wynne, Richard Lennard, Meg Murgatroyd and Courtney Murgatroyd. Adored greatgrandmother of Kaitlan, Sophie, Lydia, Alastair and Akosua Knowles, Charlotte, James and Jeffrey Howe, Kylie and Andrea Lennard and Eliza Wynne. Magical summers at the island on Georgian Bay where she was a role model for us all. The lifelong friendship and support of her sisters Betty Sihler and Rosa Parry and her brother John was a joy to behold. She lived life with grace, dignity and passion. A service to celebrate the life of Margaret Murgatroyd will take place on Monday, June 19th at 11 a.m. in Centenary Church, 24 Main Street West, Hamilton. How Old are You? Age is a quality of mind
