MARGARET ELIZABETH ROSS (Peggy) With great love and sadness, the family of Margaret (Peggy) Elizabeth Ross announces her death on February 24, 2022. Beloved daughter of the late Murray William Ross (2000) and Lucille Eleanor (O'Neil) Ross (2015). Margaret was a kind and gentle soul. Born in Toronto on June 1, 1951, she spent her early years there, moving to Edmonton as a child with her family. She is also predeceased by her uncles, Judge Donald (Renee, 2001) Sinclair Ross in 1975, James (Betty, 1988) Beaton O'Neil in 1997 and John (Jack/Chick) (Nancy, 2005) Hendry Ross in 2007. Margaret participated over the years in programs offered by Chrysalis, and later Goodwill. For the past 15 years, she has attended programs of the L'Arche Association of Edmonton, living at Noah House for the past 10 years. She leaves her many friends associated past and present with the L'Arche Edmonton community whom she loved dearly and whose hearts she touched. Margaret is survived and lovingly remembered by her sister, Janet Ross-Kerr (Edmonton); brother, Donald Ross (Elaine) (Guelph, ON); nieces, Lori (Kerry) Kerr (Calgary) and Shannon (Stan) Ross (Toronto); and nephews, Randy (Lisa) Kerr (Calgary) and Darryl Ross (Toronto); grandnephews, Hayden Kerr, Everett Kerr and Ethan Nevatte (Calgary), and Ben Tomas (Toronto); cousins, Peggy (Michael) Field and Judy O'Neil (Edmonton), Jim (Joyce) O'Neil (Spruce Grove), John Ross (Edmonton), Betsi (Phil) Fredrickson and Barbara (James) Hyman (Colorado Springs, CO), and Linda (Alfred) Adams (Tucson, AZ); and special friend, Dr. Marnie Wood (Edmonton). The family wishes to thank Dr. E. Starreveld, Dr. K. Makus, Dr. J. Yue, K. Mahe and Lorraine for the excellent health care provided to Margaret over the years.
