I did not realize aunt Marian had passed. She was a kind, sweet lady. My dad, her brother named me after her. I talked to about 10 years ago and she was the still the sweetest lady, she was always kind. condolences to her family.

Sending love and prayers to all of the Thompson family at this sad time. I was fortunate to meet Marian through my good friend - her son, Chuck. She was such a lovely warm person and on the occasion of Chuck and his sister Jill's 50th birthday, we shared some laughter. I don't think I'm allowed to tell the story, but it involved Chuck turning down a job at the newly built CN Tower because the uniform was just not cool - and they were trying to figure out how to tell his father. I guess I told the story :) 97 years is pretty spectacular - a life well lived and loved.
