She was an incredible and dedicated mother, and family was the focus of her life. After moving to Burlington in 1980, Marie and Mike joined the Burlington Golf and Country Club where Marie not only learned the game of golf, but made lifelong friendships. Playing the game of bridge was truly Marie's forte. She was an outstanding bridge player, as those around the bridge table could attest to. Marie loved to entertain, and many jovial gatherings were held at the Conoley home. Artistic talent was something Marie exuded, with both oil painting and China painting in her repertoire, and both certainly stamped with beauty and love every home they lived in. Marie and Mike were fortunate to travel the world, and Mike's career resulted in numerous family moves, which they always embraced as a family adventure. Marie was also a longtime parishioner of St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Burlington, and her faith has been steadfast in supporting her throughout her life. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Marie's life at the Burlington Golf and Country Club, 422 North Shore Blvd. East on Thursday September 15, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. A private family funeral will be held.
