Marilyn Badame Obituary

(nee Wesley) Marilyn passed away peacefully, on March 23, 2025. She was surrounded by family and will finally reunite with her beloved husband, George. Marilyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was born in Thornhill, pursued a passion for teaching before dedicating her life to her family. She supported George in his equine veterinary practice and became actively involved in horse racing as an owner. She spent many winters in Mexico and Florida. She loved to travel, cook, play tennis and golf, host Sunday family dinners and always enjoyed a glass of white wine. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Eleoff (Mark) and Connie Morrison (Don); grandchildren, Samantha (Cordero) and Stefani Eleoff, James (Meg), Kelsey (Jesse), and Scott (Corinne) Morrison; and great-grandchildren, Charlie, Izzy, Brooklyn, Maddie and Miles. We would like to thank the palliative care team at Dorothy Ley and the staff at Kingsway Retirement residence for the compassion and care given to Marilyn. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dorothy Ley Hospice. Private family service will be held.

I just found out about Marilyn passing. I played a lot of golf with her and always had fun. I wish I had known she was ill. Diane Almand
