MARILYN JEAN REID (nee Morgan) Entered into immortality July 18, 2020 at age 89. Proprietor of the Iconic Log Cabin Store for half a century. Stoney Lake will never be the same without her. A Celebration of life will be held in late August. Details to be announced at a later date. Donations in memory of Marilyn can be made to Lakefield Animal Welfare Society. Marilyn moved into the Log Cabin a few weeks before my son (Glenn) was born. So she always remembered his birthday. Marilyn was a hard working woman from the first time I met her. She always said she couldn't retire because all those that were customers whether they be from the area or cottages, they were like family. I worked at the Log Cabin for a few summers and enjoyed our time together. Rest in peace.

'Mrs. Reid' to the Chapman family. We are so appreciative of her contribution to the Stoney Lake community through her exceptional hard work and perseverence in maintaining The Log Cabin Store. She always greeted us by name and with a smile. We will always remember you as a lovely person and an important part of our Cottage experience. Rest in peace. The Chapmans
